Educational Foundation Seeks to Prevent Bullying

The Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Foundation seeks to help children and education by preventing bullying and encouraging anger management.

• Are you an active educator who wishes to attend a Professional Development activity focusing on preventing bullying and/or anger management?
• Do you have a Project in mind that would contribute to preventing bullying?
• Would your state organization, or area or region, be able to present a Seminar on anger management and/or preventing bullying?
• Do you need money to support these opportunities?

The Educational Foundation offers Project Grants and Cornetet Awards that support DKG members and non-members in working to prevent bullying and supporting anger management. The Foundation is especially interested in funding Projects and Professional Development activities in these areas, though all projects and activities will be considered.

Deadlines must be met:
Project applications – January 3, 2012
Cornetet Individual Awards – February 1, May 1, and September 1 each year
Seminar Awards – November 1 each year

Application forms are available now and should be submitted electronically before the deadline.
